About the artwork

Vlieland's Drowning House, photographed during the blue hour.

I arrived at this location by way of the vliehors express. After a long trip over the beach and along the sea, we finally arrived at the familiar little house. This is in a remote location, in the middle of the vliehors. The wind is always blowing here, which can be seen beautifully in the flapping flags.

While most of the passengers took seats on the chairs, in the middle of the circle of driftwood and other washed-up objects. I started exploring the surroundings with my camera, looking for composition during sunset.

After the sun had set, I went looking for this image, on the other side of the cottage. only during the blue hour do you get such a beautiful clear blue sky in the background, the appearance of the moon, was a nice extra detail!!!

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
