A view of the famous viktualienmarkt in central Munich.
I made this image on a sunny summer day, when the market was pleasantly busy. Prominently in the picture you can see the May tree, which was traditionally found at the entrance to cities. This way, visitors knew which crafts could be found in the town. In the background, you can still see the tower of the old town hall.
What appeals to me most in this image is the lady in the foreground, which looks out over the market.
