Dune landscape with view of the "Westhoek" nature reserve in De Panne (Belgium) 1996 - Pieter Ringoot (1921 - 2011) - oil painting on canvas. The original painting has a size of 87x110cm.
De Panne was the holiday spot of choice for my grandfather. (I probably inherited the love for De Panne from him) He made several works with this Belgian coastal town as subject. The dunes in this painting are part of the nature reserve "Westhoek", the oldest nature reserve on the Belgian coast.
As Pieter's grandson, I have photographed many of my grandfather's works in high resolution, (and sometimes digitally restored them) for all to enjoy. Some of the photographed works are available, as prints on various materials, through this site. Would you like to see more of Pieter's work? Then take a look at the Ringoot Gallery website. By purchasing a reproduction, you help me manage the works, the website and maintain my grandfather's colourful legacy.
Thank you in advance and enjoy your purchase.
