About "Dutch Slurry Tails"

About the artwork

A veiltail is a species of fish. They are called veiltail fish because, they have a kind of veil on theirntail. There are many different types of veiltails. The golden veiltail looks like a goldfish, but it is not! Veiltail fish are very special because, they are the only fish with a tail that looks like a veil.
Veiltail fish are often in a bowl but sometimes even in an aquarium, because some people think a bowl is too small. Yet it is not. Veiltailfish eat quite little because they are only allowed to eat once a day. They are not allowed to be too fat because if they are too fat you think they will explode but they don't. They sometimes get a special packet of food.
Veiltail fish don't need much care, but you do need to feed them and clean their aquarium or bowl. Cleaning can be easy but also difficult. The easy way is that you with a soft jet in the bowl or aquarium goes then it ends up full then the water and green mold flows out. The difficult way takes longer and goes like this first you take the fish out and put them in a pan never on the fire. Then you take out the pebbles. Then you pour the bowl or aquarium the water out. Then you rinse the bowl or aquarium and then put the pebbles in. Then you put the water in and then you put the fish back in and you're done. You can give the fish a little bit of food again.
