Dutch glory: Fokker F-27 Friendship/Troopship (C-31A).

Registration: 85-1608.

This Fokker is a military version of the Fokker F-27 Friendship. This version is referred to as Troopship and the Americans gave it the type designation C-31A. This particular aircraft was built by Fokker at Schiphol-East in 1984/1985 with construction number 10668.

The Troopship was given the temporary registration PH-EXJ on 2 May 1984, which remained on the aircraft until 28 November 1985. On that day, the aircraft was given registration PH-FUB to receive its US military serial number the same day. Subsequently, the aircraft was delivered to the United States Army as C-31A. At the U.S. Army, it received registration number 85-01608 and the nickname 'Excalibur'. This F-27, together with another second F-27 (85-01607, c/n 10652, ex PH-FUA/PH-EXB), was delivered to the U.S. Army.

In October 2019, the aircraft was bought through an auction by the Flying Dutch Cultural Heritage Foundation.In November 2020, the aircraft landed at Lelystad Airport.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
