Pailón Diablo watervalDeze waterval is de meest bezochte waterval in Ecuador. Op een indrukwekkende 265 voet of 80 meter schudt deze waterige duik van miljoenen kubieke voet per seconde echt de aarde. De Pailón of "Big Cauldron" - gedeelte van de naam beschrijft de dikke darm bij de basis van de waterval, terwijl de Diablo of "duivels" - deel is afgeleid van turbulente speling en totale chaos die de duivels op de rotsen hierboven lijken te veroorzaken in de gewelddadige brouwen.
