In the south of the island of Öland is Eketorps borg. Eketorp is an Iron Age ring-shaped fortress that was rebuilt and expanded in the Middle Ages. The fort was excavated in the 1960s and 1970s and then partially rebuilt. An open-air museum was opened at the fort in 1984, which attracts about 50,000 visitors annually.
The fort is open during the summer period. There are then continuously all craft performances here.
A lot of pictures have been taken of the fort, but I have limited myself to some detail pictures for the fans. Hopefully you are also an enthusiast?
With sunny regards
