About "Endless road to Exloo - autumn in Drenthe"

About the artwork

A straight road lost in mist, fringed by ancient oaks in their warm autumnal hues - this is the enchanting sight of the road to Exloo, in the middle of the Drenthe countryside. The mist hangs low between the trees, muffling every sound, while the soft light of morning makes the orange and golden brown leaves glow.

This avenue leads through an area typical of Drenthe: rolling, wooded and steeped in history. Nearby are ancient ash villages and moors where sheep herds once grazed. The trees along this road form a natural vault that embraces the traveller, as it were - a gateway to silence and reflection.

The photograph captures the moment when autumn and mist meet and the world seems to stand still for a moment. The long line of the road symbolises time and movement, while the surrounding nature breathes tranquillity and stillness. An image that perfectly captures the soul of Drenthe: simple, timeless and full of layered beauty.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
