In this fiery red canvas, the material seems to vibrate like lava in perpetual motion. The yellow lines, fragile and scattered, appear like fine cracks, like traces left by the wind on a burning surface. They bear witness to a subterranean tension, an invisible energy seeking to be released.
The work evokes the incandescent heart of the earth, a magmatic pulsation that breathes and stirs beneath the fragile crust. At times, this force rises, cracks and reveals itself in brief bursts of light. Each yellow flash becomes the memory of a breath, the imprint of an instant when matter changes, transforms and erodes.
"Eruption" is both a celebration of telluric power and a meditation on the fragility of time. An invitation to contemplate the precarious balance between the permanence of rock and the impermanence of inner fire.
