A tribute to Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972). He was a Dutch artist known for his engravings that often depict impossible constructions, studies of infinity and interlocking geometric patterns (tessellations) that gradually change into completely different forms. In the 1960s, his work was embraced by hippies and pop stars for its fantastic parallel worlds.
