Fairy pools is a stream or river on the Isle of Skye. The area is called Glen Brittle. It is an open landscape and, because of the climate, empty and barren. The stream contains many small waterfalls and on a sunny day these turn a turquoise colour, which makes this location very special. Which makes this location very special. When we were there, it was raining, which gives this picture its sombre mood. Fortunately, the orange stones and green grass still give the sculpture a lively feel. The tree was one of the few in the area. Which makes it extra special. In this photo, I chose a low position of the camera, close to the ground. By doing so, I gave the water an important place in the composition. Furthermore, this also helped create depth in the photo. The stone in the foreground, the tree in the middle and the mountains in the background.
