About ‘Falcon, Turmfalke,Common kestrel,Faucon crécerelle’ by Corrie Post
The kestrel is a bird of prey in the falcon family . Kestrels can hover silently in the air by flying against the wind with rapidly moving wings and a spread tail. This is called "praying". While hovering silently in one spot, they look down in search of prey. When they find it, they dive for it.

For a number of years I have been engaged in photography in nature. The images I make are mostly realistic, like nature shows itself to be. I photograph in The Netherlands, but also in other countries, such as Scandinavia, Iceland, Australia, etc.
