About "Fanal, Madeira - leaves on branch"

About the artwork

I took this photo in the Fanal forest in Madeira. The forest is also called the fairy forest or the fog forest. When there is a sea breeze, clouds will be pushed into the forest, which is in the mountains, creating a ghostly forest of fog. During my walk, this overhanging branch caught my eye. Sad, hanging in the fog, the dewdrops dangling from the moss that took over the branch. And suddenly there I saw a leaf standing cheerfully upright. The contrast with the sadness around it intrigued me. I took the picture and immediately saw the illusion of a reflection on my screen.
This photo continues to intrigue me. Not only because of the leaves and moss you see, but also because of the high contrast with the misty background. This photo takes me back to the forest, the beautiful foggy forest in which you seem to get lost every time. A little curiosity flares up. Will I ever be able to find this image again in real life?
This photo will enhance a sleek interior containing natural elements. Bring light to your dark wall with the contrast in the photo or break up a light wall through the light gradient in the photo.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
