This analogue photo was taken with the NIKON FE2 (Kodak T-Max 100 Iso 35mm film) in the mountains of Sa Pa in northern Vietnam, near the Chinese border. During a three-month trip through the country of Vietnam from south to north in 2000, I discovered this charming, intimate family motif in the middle of a stony road path in the high mountains. My photo partner at the time and I were travelling on a motorbike, which turned out to be cross dangerous as there were no road barriers.
