About "Female face in black lines"

About the artwork

This artwork, a line drawing in black and white, consists of a captivating mix of wild, uncontrolled lines that gradually arrange themselves into the face of a woman. At first glance, the lines appear chaotic and playful, but on closer inspection, they form a harmonious whole in which the contours of her face become visible. The face is dominated by a voluptuous mouth, highlighted with just a few carefully placed lines. The lips are full and sensual, a central element in the composition that catches the viewer's attention.

Although the rest of the face is subtly outlined, the contours remain recognisable. The eyes, nose and jawline are only lightly indicated, while the wild lines dance freely across the paper, suggesting the rest of the portrait without fully elaborating it. This combination of looseness and precision gives the artwork a minimalist yet powerful look.

The black-and-white simplicity of the linework creates a strong contrast, making the shapes stand out even more. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
