Floating Island Lighthouse and Cherry Blossom

by Arturo Vivó

A lighthouse stands on a small island drifting through a pastel sky in this dreamlike fantasy landscape. Below the island, layers of soft clouds stretch to the horizon, while distant blue mountains and a snow-capped peak rise in the background.

The tall stone lighthouse, weathered in soft whites and grays, rises from a rocky outcrop covered in green grass. Beside it, a cherry tree in full pink bloom leans gently over the edge, its blossoms glowing against the light. Small birds cross the sky, adding movement and scale to the quiet scene.

Warm pinks and cool blues blend across the clouds, suggesting the calm light of early morning or late evening. The contrast between the solid, familiar lighthouse and its impossible setting gives the image a gentle sense of wonder.

This artwork combines coastal imagery with a floating fantasy world. Its soft palette suits bedrooms, reading corners and quiet spaces, and it will appeal to anyone drawn to lighthouses, cherry blossoms and surreal, peaceful landscapes.
