Born and raised in the Netherlands, she started drawing at an early age.
Besides her career as a money broker and motherhood she followed a number of courses, e.g. mandala drawing and mental coaching, because she felt the need to address the more human side of life.
Drawing, creating, became her passion and medium of expression.

Mathilde Art's artwork reflects the hectic, the contradictions of the many influences in her life.
