The Hydrangea or the common hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla) is one of the most cultivated plants in the world. The crop has a generally striking inflorescence. Some species bloom with a large, pyramidal plume, others with a flattened screen or a more bulbous inflorescence with many sterile, infertile edge flowers.
