"Fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon sparkles in the light" is a macro photo of a small piece of a fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon, also called Morgenster in the Netherlands. In this plant, when the flower has finished flowering, it turns into a fluffy bulb. This looks a bit like a dandelion, and, like the dandelion, also belongs to the Composite family. The fluff of the Tragopogon, however, has a different structure, more of a cobweb-like structure. If you zoom in on the photo, you can see this clearly. Then you can also see right away, that I chose a very shallow depth of field when making this work. As a result, only a small area is in focus, and the further you look to the front or back, the fuzzy ball gradually fades away. This creates depth in the work and gives it a dreamy feel.
This work could hang beautifully as wall decoration (on aluminium or ArtFrame, for example) in the bedroom, kitchen, hallway or simply above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office waiting room or practice room!
