New York, The Big Apple, The Empire City or The City That Never Sleeps. During my city break in New York it was very foggy the first few days. Too bad, because that way you can't see how tall the buildings all are but what beautiful pictures the fog produces. The fog hanging between those huge buildings. My city trip was around Halloween and the fog also brought some spookiness with it.
Because the fog hangs so low it is impossible to see how tall the buildings actually are and I find that mysterious. Because where does it stop or are the buildings no higher than you can see?
Are there people working up there as well? And do they also see the fog or can they see what's going on down below. You start to wonder so much about this picture.
The photo was taken during a tour on a Hop on Hop off bus. New York is enormously busy and so we were often stuck in traffic. The ultimate opportunity to take a good look around and, of course, look up.
