A misty sunrise in the polders of the Alblasserwaard, near the little town of Bleskensgraaf. Already during earlier trips to scout for locations had I seen a location near this little water, with the aim to go back with the right conditions. What I had in mind was a misty sunrise and a few weeks ago we got exactly that. However after arriving there I could not find the composition I wanted until I walked 100 meters back and found this spot, which did provide me with the image I had in mind. Then it was just a matter of setting up the camera, deciding on the composition and waiting in silence with only the sound of birds around me until the rising sun became strong enough to burn through the fog.
