Once a year in autumn, I visit the famous Dutch Speulderbos, the forest with the dancing trees. I have already experienced various weather conditions: sunshine with bright blue sky, heavy rain alternating with bright sunshine, but also very cloudy days. But this forest is always beautiful and varied and also very photogenic.
This year I also went there once in winter. That gives a completely different picture and atmosphere and also a different challenge for the photographer. On this day it was fairly gloomy and there was still a very slight fog. My attention was drawn to a path that snaked between the dark tree trunks and where the light fell beautifully at the end. In this photo, I used the so-called "ICM" technique, where you consciously move the camera. For me, the cool white balance completes the photo!
A few years ago I started to delve into photography a bit more and by now it can be called a passion.I photograph everything that strikes me in a positive way. Landscapes, animals and occasionally architecture or portraits.... But my preference is still nature photos, especially macro.. Read more…
