The Ford Eifel is a car manufactured by Ford Germany between 1935 and 1940. Initially supplemented and replaced by the Ford Köln. It was replaced by the Ford Taunus itself.
Between 1937 and 1939 it was also assembled in Hungary and Denmark. The Eifel is derived from the Ford Model C (Europe) 1934 platform and is also related to Ford Ford 1939 Ford Anglia from 1936 from Dagenham. The car was produced between July 1935 and 1940 and a total of 62,495 were built.
The engine was a four-cylinder four-stroke 1172 cc side door, which yielded a maximum output of 34 hp (25 kW) at 4250 rpm. The three-speed manual gearbox has synchromesh on the upper two ratios.
The model is named after the Eifel Mountains in West Germany.
