Oud Groevenbeek is an enchanting place full of warm colours and scents in autumn. This historic estate on the Veluwe transforms into a beautiful autumn landscape, where the leaves of oaks, beeches and maples take on deep shades of red, orange and gold. Everywhere on the forest floor is a carpet of fallen leaves, gently rustling under your feet and covering the paths in a colourful mosaic.
Along the paths, you see mushrooms of all shapes and sizes, from tiny mushrooms to big red fly agarics. The sound of birdsong and the rustling of animals in the bushes complete the experience. Between the trees, the historical buildings of the estate sometimes appear, adding a nostalgic atmosphere to the forest. An autumn walk through Oud Groevenbeek Forest offers a unique opportunity to experience nature up close and enjoy the quiet splendour of the season.
