Fort de la Chartreuse in Liège, Belgium. This fort dates back to the days of the United Kingdom of the Netherlands, and the Belgian struggle for independence. After the fort served as a prison and military hospital in both World Wars, the complex has been left to decay. By now, nature has almost completely taken over - the trees are literally growing through the roof.
Many of the rooms inside the fort are shaped like semi-cilinders, with barrel vault style ceilings. In the rooms that have not yet collapsed, lots of graffiti can be seen on the wals.
