A very easily recognizable plant during its flowering is Foxglove, Digitalis purpurea. The bunches of flowers at the top of the stem are very striking. The bilaterally symmetrical thimble-shaped flowers are visited by bumblebees. They are striking reddish-purple colored and have a honey brand on the lower lip consisting of dark red spots. The plants have scattered leaves and are soft on the outside of the flower crown, completely with small white hairs. This photo is the flower on the picture in the forests of the Veluwe in the Netherlands. The light makes it almost a Rembrandt-like portrait of a wild radiant flower
