"From detail to abstraction: Droplets on a beige fluff of a morning star (Tragopogon)" is a macro photograph of a fluff on a fluff ball of a purple morning star.
The emphasis is on the one piece of fluff which is in the foreground. This is where the focus of the photo lies. This is only a small part. As a result, the detail-rich part of this fluff with droplets runs into an increasingly abstract part. The focus is on the drop just before the heart of the fluff and continues in this plane.
The colours of this picture are mainly cream, beige and brownish colours (the colour of wood).
Despite the many lines and circles (of the droplets) in this work, I still don't find it a very busy image, as the colours are close together.
This work could hang beautifully in a rural, natural interior, because of the colours but also because of the representation/subject.
