I am Ellis and I was born and raised in the south of the Netherlands. I have been creative since childhood. I find inspiration everywhere, from shapes and colors to my travels. My large portraits are therefore inspired by African culture, through travels to South Africa, Namibia and Tanzania. Coarse brush strokes and cheerful colors on the canvas is one of my characteristics.
