About the artwork

During my travels, I look for places that touch me - by their beauty, tranquillity or history. Sometimes you arrive at a location where everything is right: the light, the architecture, the atmosphere. Then I grab my camera and try to capture that one moment. What completes it for me is adding the name and coordinates. It makes the memory tangible and gives the image that extra bit of meaning.

I took this photo at the Real Alcázar in Seville, a royal palace that is among the oldest palaces still in use in Europe. Its origins date back to the time of Moorish rule, which you can see in the sophisticated Islamic details. The courtyard in the photo - Patio de las Doncellas - is an oasis of symmetry and tranquillity. Its water, arches and ornate patterns reflect a timeless elegance.

The choice of black and white enhances the sense of stillness and serenity. Without colour, attention is fully drawn to the shapes, lines and contrasts. The minimalist nature of this work makes it powerful and subdued at the same time.

For travel lovers, this is not just another image; it is an invitation to pause for a moment. To feel the history, hear the silence, and let it take you to a place full of stories.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
