Haarlem, the city where I happily lived for 21 years. At the time of writing, I have not lived in this city, located on the river Spaarne, for 2 years now.
As a photographer, I had some favorite spots to shoot here and, of course, this spot opposite the Waag should not be missed.
This evening there was almost no wind and as it was already quite chilly, there were no boats on the water either. In short, perfect conditions for a beautiful cityscape photo, with Teylers museum and the Waag, among others, beautifully reflected by the water of the Spaarne.
After setting up my camera with the right settings, the wait for the right light could begin. My patience was rewarded this evening and after taking several shots, I could return home satisfied.
With this, it's half over for me. The other half to make the work suitable for my shop at work on the wall, I do at home with the necessary post-processing in various photo programs. All in all, this takes time, but if the end result is what I had in mind, I am very satisfied and this work will not look out of place on your wall.
