The view sweeps from the Kaiserbad Bansin towards the amber spa town of Ückeritz. An eight-kilometre walk along the beach and you're there. I meet few people on the way, too many are wary of an approaching thunderstorm. I'm lucky, the thunderstorm doesn't materialise. I have a good snack in Ückeritz and then head back again. I am accompanied by the cries of the seagulls and the sound of the waves. A lovely day's holiday.
