abstract, abstract art.
With my own photos as a starting point, I let myself be carried away in a creative process, using all the processing techniques I've mastered in the meantime.
I have no idea how the creative process develops and what the end result will look like. And yet that moment is always what says: This is it! Now it's finished!
Lars produces his abstract pieces digitally, starting from his own photography. Lars applies his ample experience with various editing techniques to arrive at a result, which is as yet unknown. He cannot even envisage where it will lead him, when he begins. It is an intuitive process, which fills him with wonder every time he engages with it, as it leads him without fail to the point of knowing that the process is completed. Because Lars takes his own photographic originals as the starting point of his digital art, the mood of his figurative and abstract works is comparable. As his figurative photography, his abstract work is highly evocative. The emotional dance of colors moves and soothes at the same time.
