Eugène Grasset (1845-1917) was a Swiss-French artist and designer known for his contributions to Art Nouveau art. He was an important representative of the Arts and Crafts movement and influenced the designs of many well-known artists and designers of his time. Grasset was a master lithographer and produced a wide range of prints, posters, book illustrations and decorations for architecture and interiors. He was also a teacher and influenced a new generation of designers and artists.
