About the artwork

These hogweed seeds are little works of art in themselves. Since seeing the seeds so close up, I have come to understand the name of this beautiful wild plant. The hogweed spreads quickly and the tiny seeds held by tiny claws like to be carried away by the wind. . And although it shows its beauty every year, there is also danger in its beauty. When you pick a hogweed, the sap it releases will bite into your skin and can cause unsightly third-degree burns. This is also the reason why many volunteers fight the hogweed every year as best as they can in places where children play and adults walk. I therefore like to admire its beauty from a distance and when possible with my macro camera up close when autumn shows its seeds. Therefore, never take the hogweed home in its dried form. The seeds will spread in places where it is not desirable. But as far as on your wall, it can do no harm and you can admire it in all its safety and beauty every day.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
