Hong Kong, one of my favourite destinations. For work, I got to go this way again and, of course, my camera and accessories invariably accompany me in my luggage. This city is perfect for street photography but you can also take fantastic landscape and skyline photos here.

For this photo, I headed to Victoria Peak early in the morning to follow the trail from there towards the point from where you get the best view of this gigantic city. I always make sure I arrive well in time so that I can get the best spot first of all and then have quiet time to set up and adjust my gear before, in this case, the sun comes up.

Once everything is set, it's wait and see what Mother Nature has in store for us. This time I was rewarded with a lovely sunrise with beautiful clouds and colours. I haven't seen much better here. After several shots here, I was done and went back to the hotel to get a few more hours' sleep due to the time difference.

With this, it's half over for me. The other half to make the work suitable for my shop at work on the wall, I do at home with the necessary post-processing in various photo programs. All in all, this takes time, but if the end result is what I had in mind, I am very satisfied and this work will not look out of place on your wall.
