For this photograph, I did not have to travel far with my camera; the journey was in the image itself. "Hong Kong" is a visual exploration upwards, captured from the heart of a high-rise complex. The clean lines and repetitive shapes lead your gaze to the square window of the sky, framed by steel, concrete and rhythm.
What makes this composition so powerful is the interplay between geometry and light. The cool grey tones of the facades contrast subtly with the soft blue of the sky. Each floor adds a layer to the pattern, creating a tunnel-like effect that gives depth and dynamism to the image.
The colours are subdued but purposeful: steel grey, concrete white and a touch of sky blue. Together, they create a modern, urban atmosphere that radiates calm as well as energy, perfect for an interior that loves architecture, symmetry and a touch of minimalism.
As always, I finish my photos in my studio, where I refine every detail with a large screen, drawing tablet and professional software. This creates an image that is not only technically correct but also emotionally affecting, ready to transform a wall into a window to another world.
