I photographed this ice floe from a sailboat in a bay of Spitsbergen's Isfjord. Floating in the sea were all sorts of small and large ice floes that had broken off from one of Svalbard's many glaciers. Some were white, some grey and some beautifully blue. This ice floe looked very much like two mushrooms, very special to see. that this ice sculpture was formed this way by nature itself and not made by human hands.
The light shines between the parts of the entire ice floe and made the ice almost transparent in some places. In the background, the landscape in which these floes floated is still visible.
