Strokkur, Iceland's most beautiful geyser. On average, the water column is thrust to great heights every eight minutes. A spectacular phenomenon you won't soon get tired of. If you come here on a calm windless day, it seems like you can hear the heartbeat of the Strokkur. The rhythmic sloshing of the water in the 26-metre-deep cavity makes the sound of a peaceful heartbeat. Again and again, it seems as if the water column will rise in height, and again and again, it turns out to be a feint. And then suddenly, when you don't expect it, the water is thrown into the air, the mouths of onlookers, fall open in amazement, and around you you hear enthusiastic or startled screams. A phenomenon with eternity value.
