Elianne van Turennout Profile picture This striking image manipulation shows a unique and intriguing scene: Plague Doctor Penguin waddling through an arid desert. Inspired by both Halloween and alarming reports of climate change, this creative composition combines several elements to convey a powerful message about the environment.

The unusual image of a penguin, normally a symbol of cold and ice, in a dry, desolate environment raises strong questions about the impact of human activities on our planet. The addition of the Plague Doctor, a figure often associated with disease and calamity, reinforces the sense of threat and urgency around the climate issue. This artwork invites the viewer to reflect on the ecological challenges we face and encourages action to protect our planet.

With its combination of surrealism and realistic details, this image manipulation is perfect for lovers of modern art and ecological awareness. The work can make a strong statement in any space, from living rooms to offices, and offers a visual incentive to start conversations about climate change and environmental action.

This artwork is not only an aesthetically pleasing addition to any interior, but also a powerful prompt for reflection and awareness. Ideal for those looking to expand their art collection with pieces that are both visually impressive and convey an important message.

It all started with a4 paper and HB pencils. As a child I was often impressed by how beautiful the world around me was. The urge to capture this beautiful world, and to show the people around me what I saw, was actually there from the beginning. If I remember correctly, I was about eleven years old when I first met the camera. Of course it was a simple compact camera with a ridiculous quality, but I enjoyed it.

I sometimes said I wanted to be a photographer, but of course you have one of the two parents who says, "Dream on." Strangely enough, I followed the sarcastic remark as advice, and still went to study photography.
