In the Knot at the Quay
Along the quay a rope in a ship's knot. The structure of the rope the frays at the end. The concrete blocks raw and tarnished. The harbour quay is a great place to view details of the harbour. The harbour photographed in black and white.
With my work as a street photographer, I show the rough, unpolished sides of city life. With my photographs, I try to capture the beauty of everyday moments. The viewer can then invent his or her own story to go with it. I also have a fondness for industrial environments, such as harbour sites and factory buildings, where traces of the industrial past are still present. In doing so, I try to photograph subtle details, using both digital and analogue cameras.
