A harbour quay in detail Rotterdam in black and white. Bollards and mooring lines. The cranes and cloudy skies over the Nieuwe Maas. Walking through the port of Rotterdam on a Sunday, I came across these bollards. The details of the harbour quay are always particularly raw and grotesque. Across, the cranes on a deserted harbour quay. Ships are out to sea or underway on a river. The clouds in the sky attracted me to it gives a lot of layers to the photo. It accentuates the raw environment of the port of Rotterdam from South to North.
The harbour quay without ships in colour and in black and white gives a special view of the landscape of the harbour. Zaankanteropavontuur with the camera armed through the country. Rippling edges of cities and industrial estates, as well as villages and coastlines. Photography digital and analogue from the camera for on the wall, of the living room waiting room, study or office.
Zaankanteropavontuur.
Always on adventure and looking for industrial landscapes and details. And I do a lot of street photography. Walking through the streets, old villages and city centers.
I photograph mainly with an analogue Yashica 635 and a Ricoh AF 5.
