About ‘It wasn´t me!’ by jan weber
This is a building in Maastricht, part of the Sappi paper factory. It is a former monastery, a few centuries ago. The lighting of this building is always very special. Born in Zandvoort in 1962. Worked in several countries as an inventor in the medical industry. Always painted since I was 18 years old in different styles. I make work in three directions (see also my website janweber.nl ), industrial, contemporary impressionism and portrait art. I also take a lot of pictures on our travels which I partly put on this site, but they also serve as inspiration for my paintings.
