A jetty in the water, wooden posts, lots of blur and bokeh. The focus is not on the horizon, but rather somewhere in the centre of the water. The railing on the right-hand side disappears almost completely into the blur.
The horizon is slightly slanted, the colours are strange.
Quite a lot of technical imperfection in this picture. As I try to photograph and edit my monochrome pictures (black and white) as technically perfect as possible, I've tried to approach things differently here.
The picture looks more like a memory, slightly hazy but still friendly like a good dream.
The place: If you drive to Fehmarn and look towards the island on the Fehmarnsund Bridge to the right of the bridge, you can see this beach. When I'm on Fehmarn with my family to visit my parents, this beach is always part of my repertoire. In summer, this beach is never too crowded, despite a few stones in the water, there are always sandy passages to get into the water for a swim. However, you shouldn't swim too far out here. Otherwise the current will pull you away.
