At a sunset at the Oldambtmeer Oostwold you can go in many directions.
These poles caught my attention. By using them as the main subject and letting the image bleed out, it gives a calm image. By using a slow shutter speed, the surrounding water is smoothed out into one entity. Sometimes there doesn't have to be much in a photo to make it grab your attention. Sometimes less is more.
I have been photographing since I was little, but the beauty of nature is something I really started to see by actively photographing landscapes and nature. By consciously standing still and taking in your surroundings you learn to look and feel differently.
