KLu's McDonnell Douglas KDC-10 (T-235).
McDonnell Douglas KDC-10 of the Royal Netherlands Air Force, T-235 "Jan Scheffer" has landed again at Eindhoven airbase.
The 3-engine KDC-10 is a refuelling and transport aircraft based on a DC-10. The first KDC-10s entered service with the Royal Air Force in 1995.
Besides carrying cargo and passengers, the KDC-10 can refuel other aircraft such as F-16 fighters in the air. Refuelling is done via a metre-long refuelling tube at the rear of the aircraft where an operator uses joysticks to manoeuvre the tube into the correct position.
