After taking hundreds of photos'of kingfishers with a telephoto lens, I thought it would be fun to take a photo of the kingfisher with a wide-angle lens.
After endless attempts and hours of patience, a kingfisher finally landed in front of the lens. Beforehand, I set everything up so that I could print the photo with a remote control. This is because the disadvantage of a wide-angle lens is that the subject has to be very close to the camera to be large enough in focus. Waiting in a hide for the kingfisher and being able to trigger the camera from there created this unique photo that I would not have been able to take otherwise.
