About ‘Lake Garda and Limone sul Garda’ by Thomas Bugdoll

*** Please note: Real photography – no AI! *** Nestled at the foot of a steep mountainside, the charming little village of Limone sul Garda is built in terraces overlooking the lake. The houses cling to the rock face in a tiered arrangement, whilst the winding alleyways of the picturesque old town are adorned with flowers.

Above them lie endless olive groves and rustic lemon orchards. However, the name of this village of 1,000 inhabitants originally had nothing to do with them. Limone comes from the Latin word ‘Limes’ – meaning ‘border’ – because the border between Austria and Italy once ran through here. Nevertheless, Limone has made the lemon its emblem. Lake Garda, one of the Northern Italian lakes, is the largest lake in Italy, named after the municipality of Garda on its eastern shore. The northern shore of the lake is fringed by two-thousand-metre peaks of the Garda Mountains, such as Monte Baldo, whilst the southern shore lies within the Northern Italian lowlands. Lake Garda stretches across the three Italian provinces of Trento (in the north), Verona (in the east) and Brescia (in the west). These provinces belong to the regions of Trentino-South Tyrol, Veneto and Lombardy, which share Lake Garda.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
