I composed it as simply as I could: the post slightly off-center, its reflection leading the eye down through the still blue water. There are no layers here, no dramatic colors. Just soft gradients of blue and grey that shift gently from top to bottom. What I liked most was the silence, how the water and sky blurred into each other with no clear horizon. You’re not even sure where the lake ends or the air begins. Sometimes I forget that photography doesn’t always need stories or scale. This one was just about stillness, and being okay with it. That quiet moment stayed with me long after I put the camera away.
