Some parks feel like extensions of the city, but this one—lined with tall, sculptural cypress trees—feels more like a space to reset. There’s a quiet rhythm here that you can only catch in the morning. One person walks the gravel path alone, wrapped in a coat, hands tucked in, while further out on the lawn, someone else stretches or exercises, just far enough away to feel like their own world. The trees anchor the whole composition, standing rigid and tall, casting long shadows across the field. The light is soft but direct, highlighting textures without washing them out. The hedges give structure to the scene, almost like a garden in a formal painting. What stands out isn’t movement, but the stillness between it—the way people settle into their routines under these towering trees, completely at ease. You can feel the calm in the way the shadows fall and the air seems to hold still. It's an ordinary morning, but somehow it feels more composed than usual.
