The Grand Site des Deux Caps is an important part of the Parc naturel régional des caps et marais d'Opale, located in the Pas-de-Calais department.
The area covers a 23 km section of the Opal Coast and stretches from Sangatte to Wimereux. Here one finds Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez, with white cliffs, consisting of chalk about 90 million years old, and grey cliffs, consisting of sandstone and clay about 160 million years old.
Inland there is an open, slightly sloping landscape.
The area is important as a migratory bird route.
The subjects I look for are nature, mostly landscapes, but also animals and plants can come in front of the lens. Especially dramatic images appeal to me. Sometimes I also look for more graphic and abstract images. For me it's all about just making the images that make.. Read more…
